Utah’s largest fitness expo, FitCon, will host its first inaugural Frontline Throwdown to honor the State of Utah’s first responders. This includes Utah’s police force, fire department, and military personnel. The Frontline Throwdown will quite possibly be the largest fitness event for state-sponsored individuals of this type, rivaling the attention of events like the Cotopaxi Questival and local Crossfit Games (regionals). Some 25,000 individual participate with FitCon every year, giving our first responders an awesome atmosphere for community support.
FitCon Utah is excited to partner with GiGi’s Playhouse, and Gold’s Gym Utah to bring a workout class specifically designed for those with Down syndrome to the 2017 FitCon.
The FitCon Utah GiGi’s FitHouse workout class will be designed specifically for those with Downs syndrome, however all are welcome. Our primary focus with the large group class will be Functional Training Exercises, Core Strength, Cardiovascular Endurance, Increased Balance, and Stretching.
